ABOUT OUR JEWELRY

I form the gold and silver jewelry for the happy@harmony collections by hand. The bodies of the original jewelry are molded and then the jewelry for the collections is cast in small batches locally in a Finnish family business using traditional methods by hand. After casting, I work and finish the jewelry myself by hand. I also make individual pieces from silver. The gold and silver used in the jewelry are made of upcycled gold and silver. I do not use coatings in the production of the happy@harmony collections, but the jewelry is made of high-quality 14 carat gold or sterling silver (925) through and through.

The jewelry in the minimalist collection is made of high-quality sterling silver (925) and gold-plated sterling silver. The beads in the minimalist jewelry are mother-of-pearl crystal beads made in Europe. The mother-of-pearl layers on the surface of these beads are vegan thanks to the advanced product development, so no pain is caused to animals in their manufacture. The beads are made in an environmentally friendly manner and in compliance with EU regulations.

The metal parts of the stone jewelry are sterling silver (925) and the stones are semi-precious stones.

happy@harmony's jewelry selection also includes painted wooden jewelry made of Finnish certified birch. The wooden jewelry I design and draw is painted and cut locally in Finland of Finnish birch plywood, which has the FSC and PEFC environmental labels. The paints we use are made in Finland and have the Swan environmental label. The metal parts are made of surgical steel. I assemble the jewelry made of birch myself by hand.

I design and make happy@harmony's vintage jewelry mainly of recycled parts in good condition and new silver-plated metal parts.
